Knochen-Wald

This is the Forest of Bones. Though not taken literally, this area was once a lush forest before the volcanic magma scorched the life from the trees. all that remains is the thick forage of black bark and obsidian glass. The trees that still stand, are solid; their roots cemented for eternity in the soul. Their life encased in the stony prison of soot and hot ash. They stand like a dead forest, their limbs like sketeletal fingers begging for the sun, that they shall never see.
