((ooc: this follows right after my sample post))
Mahira continued running, fearing that the enemies that Loralyn had warned her about would soon catch her. It had been hours, or so it seemed since she had left Loralyn’s cabin, and now Mahira was lost, trying to located the end of the endless forest. She stopped for a moment catching her breath and continued to run. A faint light began to show through the trees. Mahira ran towards the light hoping it was an exit. In her rush, one of her now loose bandages caught on one of the nearby branches, ripping it open and allowing the blood to flow freely from her damaged wing, but she took no notice to it. When she reached the source of the light, she found a calm sunny clearing.
Finally I’ve made it out of there
She ran to the clearing and in her rush to get as far as she could from those dreadful woods, she attempted to fly high into the sky, a foolish mistake. Her left wing gave out and she came crashing to the ground forcing her to notice how badly her wing was damaged. She hadn’t tried flying since it was damaged, she had no reason. She inspected her wing and pulled out some of the extra bandages that Loralyn had given her, and clumsily attempted to wrap her wing, forgetting what Loralyn had told her about keeping her guard up and watching for others.. She really had no idea how she was supposed to do this. However, somehow she had managed to stop it from bleeding, and that had to be good enough. Feeling that this had miraculously cured her, she attempted to fly again, but with no avail. She came crashing back to the ground.
“What do I do now?” she said aloud to herself.
I don’t know where to go…What am I suppose to do?
