Name: Heather Freesia
Gender: Female
Race: Elven
Corner Preference: water
Age:30 summers
Description: Milky white skin, a long shallow scar running down her left shoulder blade. her hair is midnight black. She is of elegant build and is about 180cm tall. She has long legs, and, despite her fragile looking frame, she is quite strong. Many people may think that to know if they are talking to an elf they look for the pointed ears, but she has rounded tips. She has high cheek bones, and full lips. a slender body, with small feet.
deep dark green eyes, a slender nose, arched eyebrows.
She wears a brown robe that fits closely so as to not catch on branches. Its weaving is tight and neat. It has a hood which she rarely wears. It reaches down to her feet, and has long sleeves that reach to cover her slender hands. On her feet she wears sturdy leather sandals that strap around her calves up to her knees.
She also wears a small ring on her right hand on her Pinky finger. Its a small plain gold band with a deep blue water coloured stone in it. Similar to a sapphire.
Personality:
Skills:
She can make herself camouflaged. Any background works well. some better than others.
She can jump heights of up to 20ft, which can help her to land in tall tree branches and to scale cliff faces. the downside to this is that She would be defenseless while in mid leap, for she would be concentrating on the landing. She also uses up a lot of energy to spring up, and it would be easier to just climb. But its faster to jump. Only used in emergencies.
She can communicate telepathically with animals and ask them to do things for her. But she doesn't like to make them do her dirty work, because as each animal under her control is hurt or dies, she feels it as her own. Also it is tiring for her, and she has to meditate to reach them.
Weapon of Choice: Composite Longbow.
Sample Post:
She sprinted down the faint game trail, daring not to look behind. She concentrated on finding a track leading off, or some way to lose her pursuer, but right now she seemed to have run out of luck. despair filled her eyes as she sought desperately for hope. Trees flashed past her, small bushes and grasses raced past at an incredible speed, but still the thunderous approach of the attacker followed. The sound was heard ever louder, the beast came ever closer.
thoughts flicked quickly through her head as she tried to outrun the beast. but no. it was not to be. Suddenly she realized this fact and sought an advantage point to face the Pursuer head on. A small outcrop of rock was seen up ahead, overflowing with foliage.
Perfect.
She gathered her muscles for the leap, like a cheater would before springing for the kill, then let loose the power in a blink.
Suddenly she was flying through the air, her midnight hair streaming behind her in an ink waterfall. She concentrated on her landing, a small clear patch of dirt, when a roar rocked her brain, as filled her ears deafeningly, and a searing pain flashed on her left shoulder blade.
Another scream filled the air, but this time it was her own, and a red haze of pain flowed over her vision. Suddenly she was falling towards the outcrop, and everything went in slow motion. Her arms flung out to support her landing, which was already askew. She fell, and hit the rock unevenly. Her arms crumpled, and her body slammed into the earth.
She lay there for a few heartbeats, unsure of how much time had passed, weather it had been 2 seconds or 2 minutes.
But thinking quickly, she turned camouflaged, and drew her recurve bow from its sling on her back. She drew an arrow and knocked it. Then her head spun. She sat there giddily for a few seconds, and to her horror, saw the fire breathing lizard look upon her. She stared back, then the dizzy wave passed. The thing must have been gloating about how easy it was to kill this elf. But he forgot one very important thing, and that was to never turn your back on your enemy. He made a weird sound, almost like a laugh, but terribly distorted. Then a puff of smoke rose from his maw.
A twang sounded and suddenly an arrow sprouted from his neck, quickly followed by another in his eye. The beast roared in agony and spun on its haunches, now facing the trees, it started into a quick gallop, as another arrow sprouted from its right hind leg. In anger it threw its head around and breathed a weak excuse for a flame at the dirty, bloodied elf.
He caught her unawares and singed her and the plants around her, before disappearing into the forest from whence it came.
The elf looked around and saw on the ground where the beast was, a splatter of blood. Suddenly a throbbing on her shoulder blade reminded her of what just happened.
she remembered flying through the air, then intense pain. She slowly turned around and to her utter horror saw a slowly enlarging pool of blood form behind her. She needed some medical help and soon. She looked down to check that her belt was still there, and thankfully it was. She took the Wooden horn from the belt, and brought it to her lips. A sweet low sound reverberated through the forest and she silently willed the closest elf to make haste.
