Personality: Zachariah is a very straightforward and giving soul. He remains calm in the most extreme situations and rarely ever loses his head. His thoughts are complete and he tries never to act rash, although sometimes impulse overrides reality. He clings dearly to life and wishes to protect the right to live for all. Exiled by his own beliefs from the wind nation, he has never forgiven them for his sister’s death, or his family’s annihilation. Very sensitive and modest he puts up barriers around his feelings for his own protection and is perfectly happy within his own solitude if with out company. Happy with his life worshiping Heiseph it has blessed him with a life he never thought possible after the horror he had witnessed in his younger days. Airos was a curse to him and made his life a living hell that wished to doom him till death wiped the curse away.
Sample Post: Sweat dripped endlessly from the feverish brow of Zachariah’s sister Arianna. The war had brought Earth into Wind territory and he and Arianna were placed in the front lines by the General Lithgard, their friend and only real childhood companion. The poor girl known as Arianna had been shot by a weapon only Earth had the power to wield, a catapult of sorts, which shot large boulders and spikes of steal from the earth’s core. She had been speared by a spike in the lower abdomen and would die in a few short moments with her brother at her side, Zachariah. He longed to hear her voice one last time and sat child-like next to her death bed with flushed, tear streaked cheeks and an expression that would soften the coldest heart.
He sobbed endlessly and held on to her as if he could push the life back into her veins, but to no avail, death creped rapidly through her and the stiff iciness of her limbs made Zachariah shiver uncontrollably. The anger that flooded his eyes with tears surpassed the agony of death for a moment as he thought of the horrible Lithgard. As his sister lay there surrounded by the shroud of death his mind raced and he longed to tell the terrible story of why his beloved Arianna…was dead.
This is her story.
A light as beautiful as the sun shown in the Wind’s Night, and a wind soldier walked out into the dark dressed more wonderful than a Goddess. She now fled to meet her lover among the lilies and tulips of the Romantic Gardens. She felt no love deeper than for that of her Raphael, a winged angel sent to bless her and make her the happiest woman alive. Her thoughts wondered with images of his face and the touch of his flesh against hers. She never thought of one greater than this man, next to her brother Zachariah. And only to Raphael was she devoted.
But love from another man would soon chase all thoughts of her happiness away and damned her life forever. General Arenth Lithgard, her childhood friend was infatuated with her. That night she flew so gaily toward her beloved only to find Raphael murdered in cold blood, throat slit. His murder was comitted by none other than the General, who longed for her in a sexual way. Her heart sank with grief when the jealous General wished to take her hand in marriage. Arianna refused him numerous times and wished only to reside with her loving brother.
War soon took over and they, as his battle diceased parents had once done, operated under General Lithgard in concern to Zachariah’s wishes. Lithgard’s sly intensions wished for Zachariah’s untimely death so his sister’s grief would be to the extreme that she would do nothing else but take his hand in marriage. He placed Zachariah in the front line, his powers of flight and agility would be well used, but still, his death would be inevitable. Arianna soared to Zachariah to help. She felt deeply for her brother and did not want the second man she needed to escape her grasp and her reality. This act of selflessness resulted in her mortal wound and Zachariah cursed Lithgard and flew to him with his dying sister in his arms. Lithgard scowled at Zachariah and wept over the woman he obsessed over. He stole her away from Zachariah and kept her until now where Zachariah knelt like a child over her death bed. Exiled forever by his own intensions from Wind, he vowed to gain revenge over their army and Generals. With this vow Arianna asked him to take her hair from her dead body and do what he wished with it. It was his to keep and represented her undying soul that would be with him forever as close as he desired.
Never would he live to side with the Goddess Airos that caused him this loss of his only family and beloved friend and sister. His powers of water and flight would never aid the cause of Wind again and the only place he could find peace and solitude was in the walls of Heiseph the only other goddess he could pay patronage to.
