Cautious introductions proceed in the Shepard’s Fields as three miscreants meet and communicated names as well as nationalities. As Ethida of Earth conversed with new allies Ivalia of Water and Kyoko of Earth, her stallion Torano stayed close being wary about their visitors for both travelers. With food and words exchanged, the trio was about to make their way towards a village and shelter when an interruption of war waging proportions stopped them just before the meadow’s borders. Leading a small troop of Fire nation soldiers which included three fire dragons, MeRyk kidnapped the enchanting Ivalia and surprise attacked other two girls – one human and the other revealed as demonic - introducing disaster into the scene of peace. An epic battle ensued as MeRyk made his escape with the captured Ivalia in hand between dragons, soldiers, and two Earthen citizens. The scent of blood unfortunately for all parties involved in the battle caught the attention of and invited a three-headed canine of Fire known as Cerberus who immediately chose the demonically transformed Kyoko as an opponent. Ferocious attacks inflicted severe damage to both cursed beasts before the Master of Soil Satazian intervened ending the fight with an earthquake. After quelling the battle and listening carefully to the battle-weary Ethida and Kyoko, he sent the girl home to Saverin. Coaxing her stallion to let them tend to Ethida, Sata carefully transported her to his personal home. Slowly, they returned to Saverin to both send correspondence to the Lord of Fire Kaji Hito and summon a healer.
