Thread: "Torn in Half, but which half will win?"
Atop the Montagna Del Vento, the runaway half-pixie, half-human, Kyreigh Fiora, jumps from her perch in a tree to take another try at teaching herself to fly when Lorrina Mileynou breaks for the sky starling Kyreigh’s practice. Lorrina invites Kyreigh to fly in hopes to help her overcome her fears of flying. Both lacking in specific travel plans, the two agree to travel in the others company when nothing less than a flying cat descends upon them. Plans of travel continue over a meal of fish, the flying cat, Zairre, included as the two pixies slowly break down walls around their hearts.

Wind Regent Caelum Gladius’ heart beats with joy as he crossed the border from Water back to his native lands of Wind. With the Airos-loyal feathered dragon flies a young woman with striking white wings and hair to match. She is young Aeolian Killith, the new Lady of the Wind. As the two fly, Aeolian nearly bursts with questions. To each, Caelum responds, encouraged by the girl’s curiosity. The trade of information lasts until the two find themselves in sight of the City of Wind: Denenvera.

Cold, in both body and mind, Isabella, an angel, fears she will die in one of Montagne Periclose’s caverns. As she falls into a sleep she fears she may not wake from, a mute of the Water Region, Ryuu, happens upon her. He had caught sight of her falling earlier and came to aid. Wrapping her in his cloak, he awaits her wakening. Isabella dreams and wakes to the sound of her own scream. Pieces are put together as Ryuu, speaking telepathically, explains how he found her and that he will leave if she desired it. Isabella bids him stay and falls prey to rest once again.
Ryuu takes the opportunity to bandage her knee and a few other wounds. When she wakes, Ryuu tells her of his plans to find an inn and offers to take her along so she can rest someplace warmer. Isabella agrees and soon the two arrive at a small mountain village where Ryuu owns a house. Upon entering, Ryuu situates Isabella on the couch and sets off lighting fireplaces to warm the house and retrieving ingredients for a stew. Again Isabella dreams... and again she wakes in screams. To distract her worries, Ryuu offers her some of the simmering stew.

Zachariah, a former soldier of the Wind Nation has entered Montagne Pericolose searching for the unknown Lady of the Wind. His mind set on revenge and murder he begins to notice that his task may be harder than what he had first expected.
Taking shelter in a shallow cave he wakes abruptly to find a Lady dragon, a water drake, who had exiled herself to the depths of the cave after her beloved master died. Blue, capable of healing and telekinesis, speaks with Zachariah through her mind and they become acquainted.
Shortly after, a Samurai woman with albino white hair and blood- red eyes named Hekara Alastar targets Zachariah and Blue as members of the Wind Nation. Unbeknown to her, he and Blue are both inhabitants of the Water region like herself. Zachariah has been wounded twice by Hikara and Blue now fights her to defend him. The revelation that neither Zachariah nor Blue are of wind hits Hekara hard and the fight stumbles to a quick, unsteady stalemate. Hekara is willing to listen to reason --just this once-- but Blue, struck with the need to leave, and suddenly vacates the cave to travel for another enemy region. Someone calls for her.

Flying close to the ground, during an end-of-winter’s rain, Thaegal Skysong, half of Wind and half of Water, heads for the Montagna del Vento, singing and playing his harp as he goes. A woman named Ccalisto flees the city from which Thaegal seems to be searching. Wings unusable in the rain, Calisto lets go of her depression and fears for a moment, only to recede back to reality at Thaegal’s song. She watches from a perch higher up the mountain as Thaegal ceases flight and disappears into a cave to warm himself by a fire. Do the fates decree that she follows?

In the center of the Pinaure fields, Kyra Hitomi draws the attention of Mint with a melody played on her flute. Pleasantries are exchanged, both wondering what brings the other to the fields, but a sudden storm shower rains down upon the girls. Mint invites Kyra to shelter in a nearby cave, a request quickly accepted. Fleeing lightning, the two reach the cavern without much more harm than muddy garments. Something unearthly within the cave approaches Kyra and embraces her, a presences that startles Mint into fleeing the cavern. When Kyra opens her eyes, she finds herself alone once more.

After fleeing the cavern and Kyra, Mint finds herself looking to new company, a girl by the name of Shizuka. Trembling in fear, Shizuka --who had only recently left her parents care-- barely choked out a hello when a winged male landed in a tree by a stream. His appearance seemed to stun Mint into silence so Shizuka gathered her courage, introduced herself, and inquired if either would like to be her travel companions. The boy identifies himself as Kylie Mirage, but Mint fails to identify herself until Shizuka makes it painfully clear she wants to know her name.
The trio decides to set out the following morning. Laughter echoed from the stream as Kylie and Shizuka fished; Mint tended to the job of fire. Around the fire, Mint remains quiet as Kylie and Shizuka share details with the group about themselves. A light snowfall blankets the group during the night and all wake with chills, ready to set out, but that doesn’t mean a silly moment couldn’t spring up thanks to Shizuka.

Kisa followed Warrick’s scent to his house where she finds a giant field of flowers, a heaven isolated from the world. When Kisa arrives she encounters an unnamed man who is the combined souls of Warrick and Poe. The personality, making contact with other beings for the first time, requests a name to be given to him by Kisa; she bestows him with the name Kon. Receiving the name Kon takes Kisa into his home after she gives him a vial filled with a poison that will make the demon inside her become sealed within. This is where Kon learns the bits and pieces of the curse inside her. Upon learning this he insists she rest and they speak in the morning.
Kisa insists upon leaving so Kon doesn’t get hurt like Kuze, an old lover. Broken-hearted, Kon leaves and Kisa prepares to leave when the curse over comes her and decides it wants Kon as the new body. In an attempt to save herself and Kon, Kisa runs her blade through her self. When Kon returns, he finds the bleeding Kisa and tries to make a deal and free her from the curse. He only finds that she’d have to die for he wish to be so.
In a last effort Kisa takes the vial, preventing Kon from learning to secret to the demon inside her and exorcising the curse for the week. Kon again brings Kisa inside to rest. The two decide Kisa would stay for the week; Kisa makes Kon promise her that her days would be of happiness. The two have developed feelings for once another --a love crossing earth and wind borders. Kon promises he will help find a cure for Kisa’s curse. In return, Kisa decides to help Kon find his missing daughter, Blaire.
Enter Thorn. Tall and cold, with crystal eyes and green-tipped, white wings, she searches for the man she has dreamt of so often. The meeting has a rough start. The harsh personality of Warrick shows violent colors as he demands answers of the new arrival and pushes Kisa away in a lover’s quarrel. Kisa returns to the house, heart hurting, and eventually decides to leave. Thorn reveals her true name --Blaire-- and Warrick grants her audience in the field. Warrick succumbs to Poe and after some talking Thorn’s cold exterior seems to be softening. The father-daughter pair travels to Warrick’s home where Kon takes the lead and cooks dinner while Thorn examines her new surroundings. All too soon, however, Warrick takes charge once more and the conversation beings between father and daughter. Kisa has been called to return as well.
Will father and daughter make amends?

A young girl by the name of Sora peacefully watched a stranger train against invisible foes until she lost her footing, alerting him to her presence. The man --later revealing his name to be Tsukishi-- digs out the little spy and with less than gentle hands, roughly pulls her to her feet. Innocent and scared, Sora apologies for spying, claiming she was learning for she doesn’t know how to fight. Tsukishi collapses from the strain of training and use of his wings; Sora moves to help, but Tsukishi refuses the aid wanting to grow stronger in body. He offers to teach her how to fight and Sora accepts the aid, but not until the morning would training begin.
Sora, however, could not sleep while Tsukishi drifted into dreams and sneaks away to be alone. Tsukishi wakes, then, by the sound of Sora singing lullabies and finds the girl with shoulders bearing angel wings. Roughly, Tsukishi lifts the nonviolent Sora to her feet after falling out of her tree. The demon begins Sora’s training then and learns, after a brusque inquiry about fallen angels, that Sora doesn’t know where she came from. The training does not last and the two embark for shelter, speaking more about Sora. Tsukishi comforts the insecure girl, or attempts to, but Sora notices the pain inherent is her company. The pair comes upon a village, the sight of which triggers a suppressed memory in the young angel. In fear, she flees. Tsukishi pursues wondering what could have scared her into such tears. The fallen angel reveals what she can: a fear of humans.
