ooc: this thread is to be a continuation from Plans and Preparation; it branches away from Kaji to focus upon the conversation and events occurring between Peira and Lily.
Blue eyes watched absently her lord pass through the doorway before they turned kindly back to the woman presented before her. The woman before her was indeed beautiful in a wild sense with her long dark red hair lighter than Lord Hito’s own. Her silver eyes held a fire common among those gifted and blessed. Lily could see why her lord had invited her to this military facility; however, she decided to grant the Fire Lord the benefit of the doubt figuring there was probably another reason. He was a man loyal to his nation and serious with his position. She did not wish to believe he was just playing (and he would assure her he was not). This woman had a certain fire; the military would be sure to let it burn under their careful watch.
“Excuse me for a moment.” Sergeant Stone turned back to the files behind her. Retrieving them from their resting place just above her head, Lily turned a corner. From the other side of a row of shelves came her sweetly stern voice, “Joel, take care of these for me.” A shuffle of papers and departing footsteps. Within the minute, Lily returned to fulfill Lord Hito’s and Lady Peira’s requests.
“Right this way and we can begin.”
Sergeant Lily Stone held her hands gesturing back past Peira back out the door and through the offices back through the usual commotion. She could hear the lieutenant ask after Colonel Da'mon's status and other inquiries after other such cases. Dainty feet led the way back to the hallway and through the corridors. Her blond hair held up by a clip reflected the dimming torchlight making way for the sun. This building had windows at least on one side as it peaked out of the mountainside. Lord Hito enjoyed the bristling sunlight during the days and blazing artwork at both dawn and dusk and so this had been one of the buildings picked to house at least a part of the military. The Fire Lord’s quarters were on the outer side of this building; the documents were stored within the protection of Feuer-Bohrung.
The couple of women soon passed Lord Hito and his guest – another beautiful woman with red-tipped hair and a pure Grecian robe. Within a few more strides, Lily led Peira around a corner. She turned her head back over her shoulder to her guest her own uniform billowing out behind her.
“So where would you like to start, Lady?” Her voice came both sweet and sincere. Blue tranquil pools looked to the taller woman. “The tailor’s for a uniform? Or the stables for a horse?”
