alright, took a little longer than I planned...
also, me and Kaji are still sorting out the early history so I don't really have that yet, but hopefully will soon, lol ^_^
But I do have the gist of what really would concern Pheonix and ur girl.
alright here goes:
As a young boy he grew up in an abusive home. His father was a drunkard, an old soldier hardened by war. His mother a small woman who did little to protect herself or her son. Feeling no loyalty to either of them, and being ignorant in youth. Pheonix fled to find safety elsewhere. He merely ran with no goal in mind.
He was 10 at the time and lived in the same village as a young boy--also 10-- by the name of Kaji. Kaji's father was also a fire mage and managed to see the potential in Pheonix as he saw the potential in his own son. He took Pheonix in and raised him like a second son. Kaji and Pheonix became brothers and trained together in their magics. At the age of 15 they left their home and joined the army to train as soldiers. However, within the first two years, Pheonix began to lose interest in the army and sought an outlet for freer expression. He grew bored with the military and decided to leave in search of a greater and freer rein.
He was 17 when he left the army.
Likewise, he was 17 when he meft
her.
Within the same year as his departure he met [suki's girl] at a tavern in one of the outskirt cities. He conversed with her a bit, and she too decided to leave the militia there to travel with him for awhile, as his story of desiring freedom also appeal to her--an equally "wild" spirit.
So they joined the road and their relationship gradually grew from road companions, to close friends, and then to romantic allies. The relationship was semi-touch and go--a fun-loving, teasing, relationship full of humor, fun times, and sarcasm. However about five years after--him being 22 at the time--they met trouble on the road. A large band of theives, consisting of several units that outfited cavalry distance archers and foot swordsman alike. they were a formidable match, but for the most part Pheonix and [suki's girl] held there own and managed to actually gain an advantage. But that was before the bandits unleashed their last resort. A captured draco of mixed blood, venemous and deadly it was a magical being that had been manipulated by dark magics--most probably a shaman of their own. They withdrew, leaving their beast to finish off the two. Their plan would then be to return after the two were dead, collect their animal and anything valuable that two had on their persons.
Luckily for the two, the wingless drake was too mad with rage and hunger that it possessed very little reason. But it was savage and viscious and attacked without restrain. Many attime it was embedded in the minds of both Pheonix and [suki's girl] that if either of them had been alone without the other one, they would not have made it. However, though they managed to evade and dodge the animals killer blows, [suki's girl] got in a precarious situation and as Pheonix attempted to assist he was broadsided by the large reptiles barbed tail. He was injected with a non-lethal dose of the perpetually deadly venom--luckily his quick reactions had saved him from a long exposure to the injective barb. Amazingly enough, the wound did not seem to effect him and he felt no changes in his body from the barb's poison. He assumed himself to be fine and continued fighting.
The rest of the battle was a fog, but eventually they did manage to get away from the beast and evade the danger though they did not manage to fully kill the animal (I think its best if they say they ran and escaped, lol, for reality's sake)
Things went well. After a breif analyzation as to the damages on either person, nothing seemed bad. It appeared that all three of them--Pheonix's horse, Tempest included--suffered from some infected wounds that were infested by other toxins the beast could inject with his teeth, non were deadly or unfixable by healing arts. and it seemed that only Pheonix and his horse and received any sign of the barbed tail wound. Thus after visiting a healer in the Fire's borders, they continued on their way out to see the world. However, magical poisons--toxins that attack a person's magic instead of their body--were uncurable by the physical art of healing the body. Therefore, a week after the attack, night fell and Pheonix began to feel a pain in his chest--where the barb had hit him. It spread throughout his body, and a black fire enveloped him. Tempest suffered similiar symptoms and the two became unreasonable it almost appeared as if Pheonix had died and become something else. He abandoned [suki's girl] that night.
she later found him the next morning in a bloody camp--the camp that had homed the bandits who'd attacked them a week earlier. They were all dead, even the beast. Ever last one, bathed in blood--him right along with them. When she roused him, he had no recolection of the night and Tempest was found within the proximity grazing as if he'd never taken part in it.
Ever since then, [suki's girl] has travelled with him, helping him contain himself. If she was not there with him, Pheonix feels that he would have succumbed to the beast he becomes, and would of lost the man that was by day. She has been there for him, and him likewise has been there for her. They are inseperable and he is very protective of her.
Now he has heard rumor that his old friend, Kaji Hito, has risen into Pyran's greatest favor. This is surprising as it is a position often reserved for the great fire dragons. He now journies back to Fire, in order to reunite with his best friend--his brother.
ok, I think that's good. Feel free to create her history as you like, and create her as you like. Her personality is up to you, but as I said... I defaintely think a spirited woman is more his type.
This should be fun ^_^
