Name: Magdalena
Gender:Female
Race:
Battle Angel- These immortal demons gathered their name from the wings on their backs. The older they become the larger their wings grow (since Magdalena is still relatively young for her breed, she has small wings). Though the race is actually a demon clan, they contain the grace, intelligence, and usually a peaceful composure that most demons do not possess. However, they are fierce warriors when they need to be and are extremely efficient in battle. They are extremely loyal to their Goddess Airos.
Corner Preferance: She fits well in Wind
Age:She has the looks of an eighteen year old, but is around 95.
Description: Swift and accurate, Magdalena’s small body proves to be a delicate yet dangerous weapon. At 5'2, she hardly seems the fighter. It’s beneath the cloth that her pale body hides strong muscles that allow flexibility and strength. Her flexibility allows her to perform flips and dodges beyond a normal human and she contains the strength that allows her to wield a sword that is almost her size.
A more obvious feature is her layered shoulder length red hair that frames her face with bangs. The strands are a pale shade that match the irises of her eyes perfectly. Her battle angel blood is shown through her small white angel wings. She is unable to use these wings in full flight, but she can hover above the earth with them. The wings simply state what breed of demon she is, but that is really all they signify.
The garments in which she can be found in are far from simple. Armor guards her knees down to her ankles, elbows and the tops of her hands. A mesh armor covers her from her neck down to her upper thighs. The armor bunches around her neck in a turtle neck fashion. It was originally a long sleeves armor outfit, but years of battle has worn it down and it now no longer covers her shoulders, but it does cover her forearms and half way up her upper arm. Covering most of her mesh armor is her sleeveless tan dress that just covers the length of her mesh armor on her thighs. A thick brown belt hits her hips just right where her sword gets placed when it’s not in use. Red prayer beads are above her waist. She keeps them close as a good luck charm and protection in battle. There is a scar above her left breast where her dress and armor are still torn from a fierce battle against soldiers of fire.
Her valiant sword at her side is close to her height at a dominating 4'5 in length. The woven handle is decorated with bronze ends and an emerald sets in between the bronze and woven handle.
Personality: As a warrior, she is controlling over those who are under her and leads them with an impervious force of leadership. She hardly refuses a fight unless it is a fruitless battle. She makes sure to keep all her men safe and is not afraid to give her life for one of her own. To those above her, Magdalena follows orders respectfully and dare not cross her leaders.
As a woman, Magdalena is a shy and knowledgeable woman. She only speaks when she is spoken to unless she is around her friends. It is only then will she glow with happiness not many warriors have after seeing years and years of bloodshed and her vast knowledge of the world is unknown, unless she is captivated by a deep conversation. When she’s with her friends, she enjoys their company since she hardly has time with them and she greatly enjoys the simple pleasures in life too.
Skills: Though Magdalena has wings, she cannot fly. They are small and cannot hold her weight. Once her breed hits the age of 100, her wings will be larger enough to give her lift, but as of now she can only glide a couple feet above the ground. She is also very swift and can wield her sword with sharp accuracy. A solid weakness of hers may be her compassion for her comrades. She refuses to leave anyone behind when her group is consumed in a battle. Her lack of flight is a shortcoming as well since she can not escape easily with flight, she must run. Years of war have also harden her soul in some manner and a flaw in her personality may be that she can be a tad cold-blooded.
Sample Post: The moon gazed upon the small group with a gentle, calming aura. The trees swayed and danced with the wind. The fire below flickered, fighting against the threat of going out. The wind ceased and therefore the fire ceased to flicker violently. The soft snores of men began to fill the night.
She had taken first watch. Soft velvet irises scanning the ground for animals or soldiers. However, the peace of the night was it’s own and there was no disturbances.
She pulled her legs up into a bent position and laid her overbearing sword between her knees. She ran her pale fingers through her soft velvet shaded hair, freeing the strands from knots. Years of fighting had made Magdalena an adrenaline addict and a calm night would put her to sleep easily. She pinched herself in the arm.
She would be back home soon. The group of three she had with her could go to their homes and she would be on her own once again. A few days at home would suffice before she would be itching to travel about again. Another side effect of being a warrior, she was doomed to be a vagabond and wander the lands. She would return home again when the Winds called her back to take care of another mission.
She closed her pale velvet irises. Maybe on this trip out, she would be able to find her old comrade. She smiled. Caelum.... He was her higher-up, and one of her closest friends in this war torn world. It had been years since they last saw each other. And years ago she was hardly they woman she was today.
Slightly immature and inexperienced, he was able to form her into a more dutiful person. He confined in her and she did the same. He was a unique person that not many could find in this era. Airos had blessed her greatly with a comrade like that.
Opening her eyes, she looked to the stars and the constellations they made above her head. It was all within the hands of the Goddess and she was not going to argue with fate. But she hoped their meeting was not a one time memory and their paths may cross again.
