First off, I would like to thank those of you who have thus far answered and also thank you for your patience. As promised, here is the first short update about the work towards a site reboot. Beyond starting the two threads we have now introducing the reboot concept, I have also sent out an invitation to the members via the email addresses provided to this forum. But there’s been more.
To start, I imagined it would be best to learn more. In this regard, I've started reading more about forum management and collecting ideas on how to keep the site running. I hope to be able to keep it active longer than 4 years, though I am happy for the 3-4 years we had had.
It's not certain the look this new site will have but hopefully it will turn out to be a welcoming and muse-inspiring format.
So far, I’ve been able to revamp the site rules. For the most part, they are the same as they were with a few changes aimed towards keeping activity and clarity. I am also in the process of editing the history. (Edits not yet posted. Will probably only apply to the reboot/fresh forum.)
As for something new, I am happy to say I am working on building a map of Alraënia. With it, we’ll all be able to say where we are in the world. Perhaps with time and as the site grows its membership and develop its plot, we could also unlock other places for play beyond what we’ve already seen. Sound exciting?
