Info on this power: If you win this audition your character, which will have to have been already created, will be given the abilities of all four elements. Including Water, Fire, Wind, and Earth. Your character will be an outcast with no alegience, and will have to gain followers as you RP. Unlike the other powers, your character will remain unknown until you yourself make a name for it. These powers will not grant you any kind of status, but your destiny will be to restore peace to this fragile world. You will have to forge your character's name and you still may choose any path for your character once you have the powers. You may choose to follow the destiny given, or perhaps even with the powers you have no interest in following prophecy and choose to go against the legends. Its all up to you. This audition will merely grant you all four godly powers. If you wish to audition for the powers of the Redeemer, then this is where you will post. Post as your character in an incident/situation of your choosing.
In your audition post act as though your character has already been granted the powers and abilities of the Redeemer.
Make sure you post in length with description and plenty of detail. Make it interesting. You may post one audition for each of your characters.
Anyone can post who wishes to have the elemental powers of Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire - then please reply to this thread with your audition.
Until Stated Otherwise This Audition Thread is OPEN

occ: Eragon is audioning! I highly doubt that I'll get the position though....
IC:
Darkness will creep over the world again. The rumored shadow will rise once again. You know this. You know what you must do.
The thoughts had crept out of the corner of his head again. No matter what they did, the blossomed again. Eragon grimiced. He was an outcast again. He differed from all other people in the country. He was a creature no one wanted to be around. His foresaken powers had lead him to this exiled fate.
He was supposed to create peace amoung the four races. Yet he was an outcast. None would welcome equality with their enemies. He grunted. Why must he be tormented with questions that were too hard to answer?
Eragon shifted in his saddle. Cardoc's hooves beated the ground with tremendous effort. They were now in the Unclaimed Lands. Just out of the Silver City. Out of the place were he found peace, love, happiness even. He felt like killing himself. He would rather die than live in misery for the rest of his life.
No. I have a job to do. He thought. He yanked the reins back. Cardoc wheeled around and Eragon spurred him back to the elvin city. He would need to seek council of a wise elf. He knew they wouldn't welcome him as they once had, but he needed words of wisdom. He felt Cardoc pick up speed, they were already feeling the magic of the elves.
*****
"So you have come to me, Eragon son of Arathorn. Why may I ask?" The silver haired elf sat in a carved wooden chair. His steel gray eyes rested upon him. Eragon had let his hood down. He smiled and said cooly,
"You know of my position, Eilendir. It is a burden that I didn't ask for. You must understand this."
A slim smile spread across the elf's pale face. He folded his hands and hissed,
"Why should I understand an ememy?"
Eragons eyes blazed at the comment. He had no paitence at the moment. He snapped at the elf,
"I am an enemy to all at the moment. If you seek allegence with me, you are loosing it quickly. I need your help, Eilendir. I am lost. I can't decide what to do!"
The elf raised a slim hand for silence. He looked at the frighened man with new, understanding eyes. He strode down from the platform and rested his hand on the shoulder of Eragon. He said,
"Long have you been my friend. I raised you. You have grown into a man and yet you still seek my guidence. I offer you my support in your campainge. But, I fear that not all elves will accept this."
He glanced around to see if anyone was watching. The elf continued,
"Follow the path that was set before you. I want peace on this earth as much as many others do. Find your followers and bring the four great races together. This is a dangerous task, beware of unfriendly eyes."
The elf looked at him with sad eyes. Eragon said softly,
"The elves have always been my family. Even though I am not of their race, they protected me. That I am thankful for. If I could choose one race to be dominant of the rest, it would be the Elvin Fair."
The elf smiled. His sliver hair seemed to tremble with emotion. He swallowed hard. His eyes were glazed over in tears threatening to come. He said softly,
"Be brave, be strong, don't let others judge you. You came to this earth to restore it to it's natural place. Go now. I will find followers here, in the Silver City. I can't promise much, but I'll try."
Eragon bowed to his elf friend and quietly slipped out of the city. Unnoticed by wandering eyes. He smiled as he put his hood back on. The elf's words had comforted him. He would do what he must. He would follow the prophecy. Would he? Or would he help the race that raised him? What destiny would he choose?
He heard the prophetic elf maids words in his head again, Darkness will creep over the world again. The rumored shadow will rise once again. You know this. You know what you must do.

I no I Probably wont get the spot, but it is nice to try and GOOD LUCK TO ALL OTHERS!!-If you want to know how I got here, go to the Fire region form and look for the Forest of Bones. It will be under Caves of Lunlie childhood (or something similar to that)It's been a few days since Lunlie settled here. Still unable to completely leave her home territory, she wonders from her cave abode in the Forest of Bones, into the unknown territory surrounding her. She explored a little into Shepard's Field, but never stayed long. she was returning from exploring in the Fields. As she entered her cave she looked around. Her first few days of freedom flashed through her minds eye. Up until this moment the feeling of freedom hadn't hit her, now it was settling in her stomach. She knew she'd never be free, she would always be one of the fire god's children, but it seemed she now had a life. Something worth living for. Deeply inhaling her First Breath of freedom a melody played again in her head. This melody was fimilar.... where had she heard it before. It clicked. -That's the melody that sweet voice sang to. Does that mean she will sing again? Where is it coming from?-"Child, it's nice to see you are doing well and enjoying your freedom." Her eyes grew wide. -It's the voice!- "Yes child, I'm here." Lunlie jumped. She couldn't locate where the voice was comping from but it could enter her head and listen in on her thoughts. -She can enter my mind like my father could. Who is she? Where is she?- Lunlie looked around the cave vigorously. "It's not who I am that matters, but for your sanity's sake, I'm far away, just entering your mind to deliver a message. A message and a plea that you'll go on a mission." Lunlie was beyond herself, not only was there a voice in her head, it was asking her to do something. -What? A mission? Why? Where?- "so many questions. i only have a little time to explain this and then I'm left to hope you follow through." Memories of the night she was in horrible pain filled her head. This was the voice that soothed me and calmed me to sleep. And if her assumption was right, the voice was also the one that helped her out of her father's claws. -You soothed me and made me feel things I've never felt, how could I refuse to help you. I will except your mission, and do my best to for fill it.- "Thank you. We need you, Lunlie, to journey through the lands, and grasp what is going on in this world. We need you to understand this world your father has hid you from. We need you to help return the world to peace, and help reunite the people in our world." The whole world stopped moving that instant. -I had just got my life, I had just got a freedom that I should have had since I was born. And now.... now this voice wants me to do this.... this mission that would never permit me to be car free..... no this wasn't going to happen. I'll have to reason my way out.- -Why, I'm of no importance. I'm just a creature that walks this world, what difference could I make? "What difference? Child, this world has been torn into four corners. The people of each corner are all different. Each side thinks their kind is some how superior to the others. They were all raised in hatred. They are all fighting against each other in the name of their god or goddess. Why do I tell you this? Because you were raised away from this. You were never told anything about any of this except you belong to the god of fire. your vision of this world is untainted, you don't find the other races evil, and I bet you didn't even know the other races were out there. You can make a difference because you have not judged any one race." This news came crashing down on her. Never had she even thought the world was as big as this voice was depicting. Sure something had to be done she thought, but no by her. -Yes something should be done, but I'm only one person. how do you know I could do it. I was raised as a thief, if anything that should disqualify me.- "There lies your secret. You were raised by the most selfish man and taught steeling and harming others was ok. But the fact that you didn't fall into your father's beliefs shows that you know what is right from wrong and that you have a clear mind. You show that you are selfless and willing to be put in punishment for messing up or doing the right thing." -But... I could never do this. All I want to do is live a simple life and be happy. I don't want this, this...... war.- Lunlie was now near tears, because as much as she didn't want this, as much as she knew she couldn't handle it, she knew she would do it... or at lest try. She could never let some one down or leave them when they needed help. It just wasn't in her to do that to some one. "And because you don't, it makes you only the better person. Any person who would want this job would only have themselves, their family, and their people on mind. You don't have a motive like them. Please, please Lunlie, take this mission. You're the only person who can rightly do this. Please." The plea in the voice had caught Lunlie. How could she say no. She couldn't. Weather she liked it or not. She had to do this. The streams of tears down her cheek now came out with out resistance. -As much as I don't want this, I have to do it.... there is no way around it... but all I ever wanted was to be able to rest happily here and have no burdens on my shoulders. But I can't refuse..... Fine. You win. I'll do it... But you must promise to me that one day when this is over I'll be able to rest peaceful and live my life the way I want.- "Thank you, and yes I promise you will have that day and many years after it." -How is it you want me to go about full filling this deed?- "Just follow your heart... my beautiful daughter Lunlie." If ever some hit her with electricity it was now.- WHAT? I'm... I'm.... you're my mother? But the voice didn't respond and the soft music that came with the voice ended, symbolizing the voice of her mother was gone. WAIT. PLEASE. COME BACK!. Nothing.Lunlie had been sitting in the same spot for several long hours now. Since the voice left the weight on her seemed to b=drag her down to the ground. Crumpled up, arms around her knees pulling her legs up and her head tucked in, her thought became a bunch of unanswered questions. -How? How am I to do this great task? What could I possibly do?- Finally deciding she had to first find what was out there, this being her best guess at what to do first. She stood up and looked around at her temporary home. -I might need to return here in the future, I must leave myself a sign it's here.- Gathering her things and leaving a few unimportant things behind, mainly things she wouldn't be able to carry. She stood out front her home and looked in on it. -Why does this feel like it is going to change everything. Why does this make me feel that the freedom that was just ripped from my hands will never return?..... I don't know yet, but either way it doesn't matter, the world is in need and I'm going to have to do something.- Finally raising her hand to her cheeks, she collected her tears and placed them down on the ground before her home. -My tears are special, should I need to find this place I'll be able to sense them.- With one last painful look at her home she turned and left. Her deep green cloak rising in the wind showing off her black uniform, weapons, and her shaking body. She was only one small woman, and now.... she was facing the problems of the world.-Sorry it took that long to get this up.... problems and all. Some time this week I'll be posting something different for the fire one..... thank for reading it.... and good luck to any one else who wants this spot, and I hope only the best gets it. ..... P.S.- sorry for all spelling errors.... spell check wasn't working and I'm really tired.

The forest was deep and the sky was as dark as night. Storm clouds mingled overhead as translucent drops of rain fell upon the moist earth. Demitrius wandered the forest floor searching for an evil force, one he had been tracking over the ages, a shadow of the most malevolent nature. The Ombra Della Morte, or the Shadow of Death. His bright eyes flashed back and forth across the drenched scenery, his charcoal hair streaming with the drops of rain. Walking briskly, wings folded behind and twigs cracking gently under his weight, he remembered the beast he had come to hunt…and despise.
A shadow demon, an evil force, with a substantial amount of stamina, a demon who could control your actions by possessing your physical being as well as you inner being, a demon who caused chaos among the nations, a pest found among siblings. Ombra Della Morte is a translucent monster with eyes of blood red and no soul. It seeks out the weakest prey, many beings with doubts and week intellect the easiest to trick and manipulate. Humans mostly and other creatures on occasion, but just the same this Ombra Della Morte was a disturber of the peace. Possessing humanoids among nations and arising prejudice within the territories. Dark and relentless, the shadow would persist until all ran in its favor. Many of this kind walked the lands, but his type in particular was a pure threat to all life. Demitrius had once traveled through a village when he had first seen the despair this monster had brought. A father, one who loved his children, had been seen expressing strange behavior. The town was concerned that the man who had lived in the village since it had been established was a spy for another elemental goddess. The citizens approached his wife with the matter and she was to go and address the situation back to her husband. Demitrius and the townsmen returned later in the evening to find the small cottage door ajar and blood smeared over the entranceway. His six children manipulated as well as he and his wife. Drops of blood fell from the ceiling and words adorned the back wall of the small hut, written in the family’s blood. Tutti che commettano il sin periranno sotto l’ombra della morte. All who sin shall perish under the shadow of death. Those words would forever be burned into the back of Demitrius’s head. Never would he forget.
Growing weary of the rain Demitrius called upon the Water Goddess to slow the downpour. Moving his hands slightly, a warm breeze replaced the area that had once been taken up by water droplets. A light drizzle still fell, he did not wish to disrespect Lady Heiseph. Suddenly a tree came crashing to the earth, a large maple. Demitrius noticed it was very close to where he was walking and the way the tree fell was nearly improbable in the middle of a lush forest. The maple was shattered in at least on hundred pieces, nearly exploding to the forest floor.
The creature has spotted me and knows what I come for; I must be on guard, for this monster is nothing easily dealt with.
His eyes now darted in every direction, wings extended, his fangs visible, dripping with venom. He slowed his panicked vision and set his eyes forward, face cold as stone, still ready for battle. There he saw them, those eyes of blood staring directly into his face. The translucent black darting toward him at an alarming speed, Demitrius ducked quickly and dodged the charging demon. He spun quickly this time crouching down onto the earth. The Ombra came darting toward him a second time, he glanced up and saw those burning eyes and then shoved his hands upon the soil and began to raise the earth around him. The pieces of earth shot at the demon deflecting it in other directions, rocks and soil shooting like bullets, shattering plants and the demon into pieces. Demitrius brought his hands back up and rose off of the ground. He knew his fight had not ended. The demon began to shape into whole once more and moved even faster than before. Demitrius decided he had no other choice but to banish the Ombra the old fashioned way. He raised his wings and flew a foot above the ground, charging the creature he was fighting. Mouth open and fangs at the ready, he rose the wind to a heighten level, blowing him directly into the monster. Leaves and twigs snapping from their branches. The sound that was made when Dark Angel and Demon collided brought down tow trees beside the heavy brawl. The demon entered directly into Demitrius’s soul and as it did so he plummeted to the earth and hit the ground hard. Demitrius rolled over quickly to see if he could out beat the effects of his possessor and pull flammable elements from the earth. He did so quickly and his design of elements was the shape of his tattoo on his right shoulder. The tattoo of the Gods. As soon as he had that done he was risen from his feet, the demon had taken over. His hands were jerked up and placed around his neck and he began to strangle himself. His feet dangling in the air he struggled to overcome the force within. No oxygen was getting into his lungs and he began to gasp. He found enough strength to bite his own hand that was wrapped around his neck with his fangs. Instantly his hands dropped and he was falling back toward the ground, demon still attacked to his soul. Falling he pulled all his final strength to shoot flames toward his insignia below him, instantly the flames rose in the shape of his tattoo and burned a bright while and soon the light covered his entire body. A glowing orb in the forest. The demon dissolved with a shriek that could have shattered glass, and Demitrius fell to the forest floor.
Laying face down in the dirt, his wings laid out behind him he struggled for conscience. The demon was stronger than expected but it was now banished into the beyond. He thought of the family who had been destroyed and the lives that were lost following that incident and he knew he had done well. Saving his people, no matter who they are, water, wind, earth, and fire. Blessed with all the gifts he was to strive for peace, until the end of time.

Hmm... your character still scares me, but I like your style. I think you will be good for the role, since your character is so strange and out of the norm. I think it will be good.
Congratulations celestialessence! You are the site's new redeemer.
Good luck finding followers and restoring peace! ;D or whatever it was you had in mind.
Your character has now been gifted by all the gods.
