Description: Kaji Hito owns a powerful presence. He has a body with a strong muscular physique however it is not overbearing. With his light-toned skin dressed in a well decorated military uniform, Kaji is an educated young, handsome man. His head is crowned with dark red almost black locks flowing to cover his ears and stopping just short of his broad shoulders. Hito-san’s face is sculpted with a masculine structure and a strong jaw. With piercing golden-orange cat-like eyes, he watches all and enjoys knowing of most happenings. He is a tall 5’ 9” man with graceful muscles and a charming beauty resembling the dance performed by flames upon the wood. His gentleman manners mask his calculating and cunning mind. He is learned in the elemental arts of magic however he finds great pleasure in the craft of fire and specializes in this particular art form.
Personality: Cunning and quick of mind, Kaji Hito has always allied himself with power. Hence he abandoned his birth-given name and claimed his current name dedicating his whole being to fire. In addition, he takes special pleasure in his manners of the nobility and grand vocabulary and enjoys the company of fair women. Depending on the circumstances and Kaji’s mood, he either mercilessly defeats his opponents quickly or plays with them like his personal toys. In a chamber high in the grand bastion, sits a military officer true to his nation. For now he resides by his desk organized with papers, forms, and documents regarding past wars and battles. He has a map of the surrounding area laid out on his desk however for the moment, he does not acknowledge its presence. Colonel Hito is preoccupied gazing out the window at his side and in front of his desk. He sits at his desk on a majestic chair with his back to the wall, his elbow resting on top the map and his head cocked towards the sky. For the time being he ponders strategies and geography concerning the soon approaching war with a glass of his favorite ale in hand. Pulling the glass to his mouth with his elbow still on the table, he stops just short to take in the potent yet sweet fragrance of the alcohol. Kaji Hito, as he refers to himself, remembers his first taste of ale. He began because he greatly enjoyed the thrill and exhilaration it caused his mind nonetheless now that feeling has gone and he simply drinks to satisfy his thirst and yearning for the taste.
As he drinks, Kaji still gazes into the sky planning an attack against enemies. He finds the sky quite contradictory to his own thoughts of war and blood shed. The sky is full of peace and tranquility entirely blue except for a few white fluffy clouds, clouds not even a match for the sun and its power. Hito admired the sun and its power; he admired fire and all its forms in the world. It could be so safe and comforting and yet it could take on the form of destruction and devastation. He related to the flame for that very reason. One time he could be as gentle as a father might be towards his daughter and as merciless as a rampant forest fire. Kaji envisions the power of fire and pictures its fuel and the blood it leaves behind. Finally and subtly he cracks a smile and breaks the continuous streak of still his body had taken on during his wondering to the sky.
A knock breaks the silence which had once pursued in the room, in his headquarters. A young female lieutenant enters and begins to speak of the recent victory of his army in a distant land. He again lets a grin loose however not for the same reason she suspected. Kaji Hito allowed his eyes to discreetly look her over and take in her beauty and follow the curves of her body. He stood to address the young woman and the situation at hand when another soldier, male this time, entered to announce Colonel Hito’s superior officer and commander. Just then a movement outside caught the colonel’s attention. It was a peasant woman from her appearance in the fields playing with her children. He watched her for but a moment thinking of the peace of his nation and how he contributed to enforcing and protecting that peace and then exited his room to meet his commanding officer. “One day…” he whispered under his breath thinking of all he could do and accomplish.
