*for now... new pic coming soon*
Name : Cane de Morte
Gender : Male
Race : He is made Cerberus, a three headed dog - said to be born from the fires of hell.
Corner Preferance : Fire
Age : Immortal - his body reflects the age of a creation already past death, but his years include 540 of servitude.
Description : Dark grey flesh layers the hellish creatures bones. Once serving a hellish demon of great power - sometimes refered to as a Satanic creation, he disobeyed a merciless rule. Cursed to live within a dying body... he is immortally bound to the earth - and will never dye of natural cause.
His flesh his grotuesque, always a mottled grey color and the hair that grows from it is short and thick, also a dark blackish grey. The three heads that protrude from the single pair of shoulders are resemble that of a pitbull, with long pointed ears. Seeming almost like the eqyption god, Anubis. Large body is heavily muscled, and though this body is not built for speed, it makes up for it in strength. Thick hide acts almost like a plated armor, protecting the inner body - Though it still bleeds... the skin is very thick and hard to tear, but not impossible. Large canines sprout from the jaws of this beast, and his eyes are dark amber, and seemed to sway in shade between dark russet, to crimson red.
His hide is marked with the curse of his previous master, before his rebellion. Cursed to remain in decay. The flesh upon his side seeming to fall away as the bone beneath appears through the red. It bleeds on occasion... and heals as well - only to reopen again on a later date. That is only one of the many decaying scars. The skin upon the neck of the middle head, lays infected when the cycle begins... leaving the flesh to fall away and the red sinew of the tissue to appear. The Jaw bone of the left most skull is visible through the black and grey hide, as if the skin had been clawed or struck by a larger viscious creature. Overall it appears as if, this beast has been within a battle, that he failed to win - though came out alive. Many more riddlesome marks and decaying flesh appear simaltaneously upon his bod. All destined to heal. Each time the wounds rebirth they are the same. The pain is the same, and the curse remains. It is prophecized that it can be broken only by alleigence to another. True loyalty.
Ironic how, this curse must be broken by loyalty, when Cane had lived with rotten, evil, corrupt, and corroded morals. Bad habits are hard to break.
This beast stands near 4' from toe to shoulder, and each skull of the three heads is large enough to grip the head of an adult male firmly in its jaws. A long snakelike tail - almost resembles that of a rat; long and thin, whiplike so to speak - though he can't use it as such.
Personality : Rash, and malicious - it has a very animalistic nature. Though it has reason, it is more of a brute than a thinker... and often acts before it thinks. It will hunt and possible eat anything that it finds when it is hungery. Though when ravaneous it still has a form of self control. Now, when one has one mind, that mind contains everything, from intilect, to instinct, from fear, to reason. But when one's mind is seperated into three different skulls, does it not make sense that each different portion would master a different skill?
The left skull is the hateful one. Angery and eager to fight, this personality is very harsh and unforgiving. It is the feircer of the three and is always eager to join a fight, even if its one it knows it can't win.
The middle brainpan is the thinker. It's intellect and process of reason and far better than the other two. It decides ultimately the located of each placed step. This is the smartest of them all... and the main logic center.
The right skull is more timid than the others, holding forgotten emotions such as caution and fear. It also remembers so much more than any of the other three. That is its job... it holds the beast's caled Cane's memory.
However, though the three portions of the giant's heads seem uniquely different - they all share a common soul, and thus all combine to create Cane. They do not often question each other, nor do they fight. They act reasonably as one, without arguments. But each mind serves a different purpose, just as the different sections of the mind of a single headed being.
Sample : The large clawed pads of the cerberus creation cowered as the curse fell upon its skin. Harsh whines and whimpers could be heard as the pain swelled to an uncontrollable pitch. Rage consumed the beast, and the left skull ripped at its own flesh upon the side, in fury - attempting to reach the attacker that seemed to attack from the inside. This only brought upon more inferior regrets and pain. The right whining pitifully as it howled/ growled. Though it to bite at its forepaw as an uncontrollable itch seemed to grow there. Fire loomed inside the middle and it feircely attacked the left - trying to get the furious infidel to cease the ravaging of the joined creature's side. Scarring the face. Meanwhile the master watched down from above, as he burned his disobedient servent from within.
the cerberus breed was by birth a servent of demons. It was made to serve and such rebellion was not tolerated. They should not think for themselves, and they should not reason ; merely obey. The master was a shadow demon - made of immense power and strength, given dominion of some of the deepest depths of the earth, where fire reigned throughout the soil. He had plenty of loyal servents... that this one did not matter. Cane had served a purpose until now... He was now to be cast out. Other watching fellows of the cerberus kin watched and occumulated, no compassion for their comrade lay in their eyes. They served their Lord, this one had dissobeyed... he diserved this fate.
At first the demonic lord held the others off... ordering them not to attack the pair - though the lust for a fight, was hard against the chains that bound them. Cerberus was by nature an aggressive creations, and served well as guardians of such a hell bound sanctuary. But as he withdrew his own magics of hurt from the struggling Cane, he did not stop the punishment. Releasing the chains from his other beasts, they fell upon the death dog. Biting and ripping at flesh as the one creature fought against it all... rather well - but not enough to avoid other scarring of mortal injury.
Suddenly all stopped... the pain within him ceased and the jaws of his fellows failed to come. All three murdered skulls looked up curiously as if to ask why their execution had not continued.
The dark lord's voice echoed coldly down to them,
[glow=maroon,2,300]As punishment for your sin, you shall be cast out from my domain. Cursed to wander you shall be with the marks you hold now, forever and always until you prove your loyalty. Be'gone - and dare you return... I will not remain generous.[/glow]
The cold words were enough, and the right soundly conviced the other two, that pride was not worth death. Thus fleeing into the light, they cowered under the brightness... finding the upper levels of life to be too bright for their content. He chose to remain awake mostly during the night, when the shadows are almost a comfort. For Cane de Monte - translated as Death Dog - is like the monsters in the stories... but he is no story.
Out here... he is very real.
